Why Long Articles Important to increase Adsense Revenue

There are many aspects that decide your AdSense income and one of the biggest factor is the long quality article.

This is an indirect factor that affects your AdSense earning silently and also ignored by many bloggers.

I have seen many blogs with huge traffic but their owner is still struggling with low AdSense earnings.

There are many ways to increase your AdSense CPC and RPM that helps to boost your AdSense income but if you ignore the length of the article then all in vain.

To earn a decent amount of money from AdSense constantly, You must understand the importance of a long article in your blog and also keywords.

So, keep reading and don’t miss the chance to boost your AdSense income.

Why Long Articles Important to increase Adsense Revenue?

The article content size helps to get relevant and high-quality Adsense ads on your blog.

Also, the reader will click on ads if it is related to the article and information they are looking for.

Generally, Google places best ads on your blog but sometimes they also show the irreverent ads on your blog.

Now don’t blame Google for irreverent ads.

They are not doing any partiality.

It’s all your mistake.

You need to understand how Google picks ads to show on your blog.

And, understanding this thing can diametrically change or boost your AdSense earning without any hard work.

Normally, AdSense robots scan the content (matching the keywords in their system) and show the relevant ads.

Therefore, If your article doesn’t have enough words (useful keywords) to feed the AdSense robots.

Then, surely you will get non-relevant ads, public ads or blank space on your blog.

Why Google Show Irrelevant Ads on Blog?

Let’s assume you are using widely used AdSense ad-block on your blog which is “Large Rectangle (336 x 280)“.

You have inserted 3 large rectangle ads and the ad type is text ads only.

Most of the time, you will get 4 ads within each large rectangle ad block when text ads are enabled.

That means, 12 text ads should appear on your blog.

Now, Once take a look at your Article size.

Is that enough to feed AdSense robots to fetch 12 relevant ads?

I don’t think that you will get relevant ads on your blog article which is less than 500 words.

To get high-quality ads on your blog, You must have good quality unique article having a minimum 700 words including customer generic keywords or Advertisers targeted keywords.

Further, Let me explain my words with two sentences.

The first sentence includes general keywords and the second sentence include customer generic keywords or Advertisers targeted keywords.

  • I want to complete my college study so that I can get a good job to earn money.
  • I want to complete my engineering college studies from one of the top colleges in India so that I can get high salary engineering job.

Can you see the difference?

Both sentences are saying the same thing but with different keywords.

What do you think?

Which sentence will get high-quality ads?

It is recommended that you should use high paying AdSense keywords.

But don’t overdo it.

Because If you do that, It will end up as “keyword stuffing“.

What should be Article length to generate higher AdSense revenue?

I recommend you to write unique good quality article having a minimum of 800 words including customer generic keywords or Advertisers targeted keywords.

But, If you can write an article containing more than 1500 words.

Then, It will work like a money magnet and traffic magnet for you.

When done lots of research on article length that which works best on Google search page then researchers found, the average word count of a Google first page result was 1,890 – 2450 words.

Now the choice is yours, I am not gonna force you anyway.

I hope this small article makes sense to get some ideas on getting relevant and high paying AdSense ads to increase the revenue.

I shared here what I follow most of the time and quite succeeded too.

After Google started to consider ‘best user experience’ in each blog pages, you have to make sure you are not overdoing anything extra which will put you in trouble.
